Iris's first encounter with a real live iris. Spring was in full bloom in Berkeley, and all three of us were enchanted by the greenery and wonderful smells of flowers.
Gwyneth and Iris pose by a redwood at Muir Woods. We had a great day walking among the redwoods and visiting Stinson Beach. The California coast is really beatiful!
At our picnic lunch break, Iris has a close-up and personal experience with some fresh grass. Video of this event coming soon. Afterwards, we went for a stroll on the beach:

Star, Iris and Matt at the Asian Art Museum. We experimented with carrying Iris in the Bjorn facing out. She loved it! She enjoyed much of the asian art, especially the special exhibit featuring many thangkas from Bhutan.

We are back in New Haven now, where Spring has not come, despite our best hopes. But, soon!
